Sew'n Wild Oaks Class Was In Session

Hello Everyone,

My girls have done it again.  They totally knocked it out of the park yesterday with their show and tell.  Mainly show because none of you are telling how you get so much accomplished!

Evelynne put her own special spin on my Winter's Warmth pattern. She used her embroidery machine to add the decorative touch in the setting triangles.

Evelynne also finished her Graceful Rhapsody quilt by Denise Sheehan.  Evelynne made this quilt on her embroidery machine.  You can't see the bling....but it's there and enhances this beauty.

It was beautifully quilted by Lora Zmak.

You've seen Jeanne's Lil' Orphan Scrappy before......

.....but now she is totally finished with a scrappy binding.

Suzanne appliqued her Graceful Rhapsody by hand.

Beautiful and ready for the quilter!

Mary finished A Prairie Gathering quilt which was a BOM by Pam Buda for Marcus Fabrics.  Incredible!

It was quilted by Lani Ennis.

This shows you the detailed quilting on the back. Exceptional!

If Mary gets tired of one side, she can turn it over and show off the back.

Barbara was working on the binding for her Christmas Morning Delight.  This pattern is available at In Between Stitches and at the Material Girlfriends website.

Pat put her flying geese (or as my cousin says, "flying ducks") border on October Magic. Well done Pat!  She is going to quilt this one herself and most likely have it hanging by Halloween.

Great attention to detail.

Barbara has her little scarecrows all lined up ready to shoo the crows away.

This one is named Mr. Joe!!

Isn't this sweet?  Kristi added wool leaves to make this one "pop".

Barbara G. and Pat G. were both working on their Walk in the Park blocks.

Piles of Walk in the Park blocks.

Lynette worked on her Civil War Legacies Michael's Victory quilt.  Very sweet.

Here's another cutie by Nancy.  Very patriotic at a time when this country needs a big dose of patriotism.

Christmas is coming soon and maybe, just maybe Dianna will have Toyland Tree on display for the holidays.  This little guy is so sweet.  The next time you see her make sure to check out the earrings.

Gail is assembling her Lil' Orphan Scrappy blocks in groups of four.  Her favorite thing is selecting the fabrics for each block.....and you can tell!

There were lots of Lucy Boston blocks in the classroom.  Aren't they something!

Susan is piecing this block together using the Strip-It fabric from Marcus Fabrics.

Here's my contribution to the class which pales in comparison to the achievements of "my girls".  I'm working on my new Huckleberry Hill pattern using Star Spangled Liberty fabric by Pam Buda for Marcus Fabrics.  So much fun!

My girls can put on their own quilt show......and they do!  Twice a month they decorate the classroom at In Between Stitches with their incredible creations.  I feel so honored to be part of this group of wonderful women.  They inspire, encourage, and support each other every minute of the day.  I love my girls!

Soon,
Lynn
